Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using NanoEditor, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Product Scope

NanoEditor provides a guided AI workflow for creating D&D and fantasy RPG character portraits, private account history, image downloads, credit-based usage, and six browser-based image format converters.

The service may change as models, providers, pricing, or product requirements evolve. We may modify or discontinue a feature when reasonably necessary for security, legal, provider, or operational reasons.

Independent Product Disclaimer

NanoEditor is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Wizards of the Coast. Dungeons & Dragons, D&D, and related marks belong to their respective owners.

Accounts

Google sign-in is used for registered accounts. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for keeping access to your Google account secure. Notify us if you believe your NanoEditor account has been used without permission.

Do not create multiple accounts, manipulate cookies, or use automated methods to obtain repeated guest trials, signup rewards, or other promotional credits.

Guest Trial and Credits

A guest may receive one successful portrait generation without registration. A new Google account currently receives 20 promotional credits. One D&D portrait currently costs 10 credits and produces one image.

Promotional credits:

  • have no cash value;
  • cannot be transferred or sold;
  • may be restricted, changed, or withdrawn when abuse is detected;
  • are not refundable.

When an account generation fails before a usable result is delivered, NanoEditor is designed to restore the corresponding consumed credits. Credit restoration may require task reconciliation when a provider response is delayed or inconsistent.

Paid Plans and Billing

Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Prices, billing intervals, included credits, renewal dates, and cancellation terms are displayed before checkout and recorded in the order or subscription state.

Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Cancellation normally stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless applicable law or the checkout terms require otherwise.

Client-submitted prices, credit amounts, or plan descriptions are not authoritative. NanoEditor uses server-controlled product configuration and verified Stripe events to determine paid access and credit entitlements.

Character Inputs and Generated Images

You retain responsibility for the text, references, and instructions you submit. Do not submit content you do not have the right to use.

AI-generated images may contain errors, unexpected details, similarities to other works, or inconsistent anatomy. NanoEditor does not guarantee that an output is unique, accurate to every character detail, suitable for publication, or free from third-party claims.

Subject to applicable law, provider terms, and the rights of others, you may use generated portraits for personal campaigns, character profiles, virtual tabletops, campaign wikis, and other lawful purposes. You are responsible for determining whether a particular commercial or public use is appropriate.

Acceptable Use

You must not use NanoEditor to:

  • create or distribute illegal content;
  • sexualize minors or depict child sexual abuse material;
  • harass, threaten, defame, or exploit another person;
  • impersonate a real person in a deceptive or harmful way;
  • infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
  • generate malware, phishing material, fraud, or deceptive commercial content;
  • bypass credits, guest limits, authentication, rate limits, or access controls;
  • interfere with the service, providers, infrastructure, or other users;
  • submit automated high-volume requests without written permission.

We may reject prompts, suspend access, remove stored results, or terminate accounts when necessary to enforce these rules or protect the service.

Browser-Based Conversion Tools

The JPG, PNG, and WebP conversion tools run in the browser. You are responsible for the files you select and for keeping any necessary original copies. Browser capabilities and output quality may vary by device and format.

Availability and Providers

Portrait generation depends on external AI providers, network services, Cloudflare infrastructure, and other third parties. Generation speed and availability are not guaranteed. Maintenance, provider outages, rate limits, or model changes may temporarily affect the service.

Intellectual Property

NanoEditor branding, site design, software, documentation, and original site content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant permission to copy, resell, reverse engineer, or redistribute the service itself except where applicable law permits.

Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for abuse, fraud, chargebacks, security risk, legal requirements, or material violations of these Terms. You may stop using the service and cancel an active subscription through the available account controls.

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, a specific artistic result, or fitness for a particular campaign, publication, or commercial purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NanoEditor is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service, generated content, provider interruptions, or loss of data. Mandatory consumer rights are not excluded.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the product, billing model, providers, or legal requirements change. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date on this page and, where appropriate, through an in-product notice.
